AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
SALES:
– External visits to customers, solve machining problems, stock problems and suggest improvements
– Deliver tools
– Collect tools
– Quote customers on tools and service
– Advise customers on cutting parameters
– Manage new tool stock in store
REPORTING:
– Generate weekly and monthly tool cost report
– Generate weekly customer activity report
– Draw weekly sales graph
– Generate weekly customer sales report
– Generate monthly customer activity report
TOOL TESTING:
– Sign off tool drawings
– Ensure tool comes from factory in due time
– Test tool
– Generate test report
– Customer service: ensure excellent customer service at all times

EXPERIENCE & SKILL
– 2 to 5 years proven work experience as a sales representative
– Prioritizing, time management and organisational skills
– Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
– Selling and negotiation skills
– Flexibility
– Familiarity in relevant technical systems / computer literate
– Persistence

The Coating Plant Operator is responsible for a combination of tasks related to Coating and the lead-up and Outputs of Coating.  The Areas of Responsibility include:

  • Cutting and Cylindrical grinding
  • Polishing
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping

Experience, Skill and Educational Requirements:

SALARY

Salary and benefits offered commensurate with skills and experience, will be in the range of a basic salary of R8500 to R10 000 (basic, excluding benefits).

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseload, supporting clients through various life circumstances including, but not limited to: ARV adherence and non-adherence, pregnancy and parenting, child neglect, physical abuse, domestic violence, substance use, financial hardship, food insecurity, etc.
  • Provide counselling and education to clients in order to assist them and support them with above-mentioned hardships while promoting self-empowerment and decision-making.
  • Conduct home visits
  • Collect information about clients through interviews, intakes, surveys, counselling, and observations both on site and on home visits
  • Participate in case review meetings as a contributing member.
  • Assist, and advocate for, clients in navigating available services both internally and externally
  • Lead and assist with planning, preparation, facilitation, and execution of group work and special events.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client records and information.
  • Represent the organization if/when meeting with external stakeholders and visitors.
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum educational requirement: Social Worker/Counsellor qualification, including registration with the relevant council.
  • Minimum experience of three years
  • Experience in case work or community development preferred
  • Fluency in isiXhosa and English with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral forms
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Salary:

Salary range from R15347.62 to R16705.51 basic salary per month, depending on scope of competence and experience.  Additional benefits such as medical aid, provident fund, funeral cover, life cover and additional annual leave days are also offered.
