Accountant Training Specialist (Port Elizabeth)

 

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accountant Training Specialist to join our finance team. If you have a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for accuracy, and a passion for financial analysis, we want to hear from you.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with partners to research and develop software for implementing automated processes in the Accounting Department.
  • Handle the installation and troubleshoot computer applications specific to the Accounting Department.
  • Provide technical support for automating traditional accounting processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Analyse existing systems and develop improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain Draftworx templates for various accounting processes.

Senior Accountant (Port Elizabeth)

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. If you have a strong background in accounting, extensive knowledge of financial regulations, and proven leadership abilities, we want to hear from you.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Create and analyse liability, asset, and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation.
    • Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports.

          Health & Safety Officer (Queenstown)

          The main duties of the Health and Safety Officer include ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety, social and environmental laws, procedures, guidelines and specifications and to provide advice on measures needed to minimise hazards or unhealthy situations in construction sites. The Health and Safety Officer needs to establish a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to health, safety, social and environment management in all work sites under the project throughout project life cycle. The Health and Safety Officer shall focus primarily on prevention of accidents and is expected to be detail-oriented and ready to act in emergencies.

          Job Description:

          The Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:

          • Prepare and/or update health, safety, social and environmental management plans, review them on a regular basis and keep them up to date at all times.
          • Advise and instruct project staff, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders on various safety, health, social and environmental related matters related to project implementation.
          • Support the Project Manager in raising awareness on health and safety issues among project staff, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders and within the company in general.
          • Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures on Health and Safety.
